Up until last year, when I was married to my beloved, my business was known as Clare Shaw Fine Art and Design. I am a very old fashioned girl, and it felt wrong to carry on with my maiden name, so I have rebranded to Clare Haggas . The transition has been pretty seamless and organic so far, and by the time the new Autumn Collection has arrived all of my marketing, bespoke packaging, certificates and original artwork will be under the new banner.

With regards to my work, people always question how I get such energy in my paintings with just pencils but I believe this is down to the sheer passion and love that I have for my job. I live in rural Lincolnshire and the beauty that surrounds me is simply inspirational, it’s hard not to get excited each and every day when I step out into the glorious British countryside right on my doorstep.

I am an international Sporting artist who specialises in creating large dynamic and powerful paintings of a variety of British Wildlife. My particular passion is British birds and I have this unique ability to capture their personality and character as well injecting movement and passion. Over recent years I  have been a fresh face on the countryside scene and my work is hung in a plethora of shoot rooms, country houses, offices, and hotels around the World.

My work is incredibly vibrant and after a light bulb moment, I decided to create a collection of Pure silk scarves to compliment my original artwork on a fashion accessory. All of my scarves are exclusively Made in England, are pure twill silk and have hand rolled edging. My bespoke packaging is stunning and the whole feel of the product is luxurious and timeless. Each design is available in an exquisite range of jewel like colours and every day I am designing, researching and developing new and exciting ideas to capture on the silk.

Its not only ladies who have been inspired by my collection, after just a few months I decided to offer gentlemen the chance to accessorise their outfits with their own range of Finest silk ties and complimenting pocket squares. My recent collections have been a phenomenal success, which inspires, and drives me to create more luxury scarves, accessories and gifts, as well as painting bigger, brighter and more stunning pieces of art.
